Acetic Solution 3ml is a dilute acetic acid vehicle that lowers the pH of the reconstitution environment, protonating charged residues and disrupting the aggregation that holds these peptides out of solution. When should researchers choose an acidic solvent over bacteriostatic water? When a lyophilized peptide stays cloudy, gels, or does not fully dissolve in neutral bacteriostatic water.
