Selank / Semax Blend Nasal Spray

Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro) based on the naturally occurring immunomodulatory tetrapeptide tuftsin, extended with a Pro-Gly-Pro sequence that increases metabolic stability. Semax is a synthetic heptapeptide (Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro) built on the ACTH(4-7) fragment with the same Pro-Gly-Pro stabilising extension. In non-human models, both peptides have been examined for neuropeptide modulation and central nervous system signalling, with published work reporting regulation of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and trkB expression, an effect most extensively characterised for Semax in rodent tissue.
